1st January 2017: New Year Celebration
We began our New-Year with all the newness around, thanking the Lord for the past year and asking the spirit to guide us. With new hope, visions and dreams we started the New Year. In the evening we had “Family Day” in the parish. Our postulants participated in the cultural programme by performing dance. It was a good opportunity to meet different families of the parish.

27th February: Fraternity Day
Mother Francisca says “Fraternity is our first Vocation”. On this occasion we celebrated the Fraternity with the Eucharistic Celebration at 6.30am, celebrated by Fr. Stanley SFX. The homily was inspiring and focused on the unique beauty of living together as community. The mass was creative and with a melodious choir of postulants.

14th March: Fraternal Visit of our Provincial Sr. Alice P.T
The community welcomed Provincial Sr. Alice PT; the purpose of her visit was to meet the postulants before leaving for holidays and also to meet Fr. EliseuBarretto with regard to Raia Mission. Sr. Alice met the postulants and also had a community meeting with the Sisters. Everyone shared their experience and Sr. Alice in turn appreciated our involvement with the parish and the people.

24th March: Departure of Postulants
On 23rd of March we bid farewell to our postulants with a prayer service and a cultural programme. They expressed their gratitude to each sister especially Sr. Sandra for accompanying them. On 24th Morning they set out to journey back to their homes. The community wished good luck and God’s blessings on the seven postulants.

7th April Result and Thanks Giving Mass
It was the time for KG-II students to say goodbye to their friends and teachers and to thank God for the chance and opportunities they have got in this school. Rev. Fr. Geraldo had celebrated the mass and prayed over the children. After the mass prizes and certificates were given to the outgoing students and best students, the result was given to the students and special games were conducted to the outgoing children and a short get together was held.

Month of May: Departures and Arrivals of New Community Members
On 14th May we bid farewell to Sr. Glenda Pereira for her generous service of three years, she was transferred to Jerome home community. On 28th May, Sr. Leena joined the community to give her service at Raia Mission. On 30th Sr. Kanuka was transferred to Aurangabad community, we said good bye to her and thanked her for her service to our community and mission.

31st July: Entry into the Postulant ship
'This is the day to sing the Praises of the Almighty God, to bless His name', as we the community of Curtorim raise our gratitude to the Lord. The month of July marks very important because during this month our candidates make their entry into Postulant ship period. Indeed 31st of July is a memorable day for two of our candidates namely SAVITRI and MARY JYOTHI made their entry into the Postulantship period in the presence of our Provincial Sr. Alice P. T, Sr. Belinda Serrao (Councilor), Sr. Sandra Luis (superior and postulant mistress), Sr. Arogyam M., Sr. Eva, Sr. Angel and Sr. Leena.There was a special prayer service at 6.30p.m, conducted by Sr. Sandra. Prayer was based on the Province theme "Give me your hand let us lift the world." Word of God was read and reflected together singing the praises of Almighty God

2nd to 7th August: Visit by the Provincial Governing Body
'Every purpose under heaven has a time to make things beautiful at all times.' The community of Curtorim was glad to receive the Provincial Governing Body. They reached on 2nd of August. Sisters were greeted with welcome song and with flower. They spend their rest of the days in meeting. At the same time they made their visit to the extended community at Raia. We had small gathering, sharing supper together exchanging our joy and happiness with delight. As a token of our gratitude of having their presence with us, Sr. Sandra thanked sisters for their valuable presence in the community

24th August Seminar for the Parents
A seminar was conducted for the parents on “Nutritious food for the kids” by Dr.Melqisa. She gave awareness to kids that they are in need of calcium and iron for their growth, and how parents can give it to their kids, the symptoms for lack of iron and calcium, and importance of National Deworming Day. Parents clarified some of their doubts. Dr. Melqisa was really enriched on this topic.

17th September: - A DAY OF ADORATION (A DAY WITH THE LORD)
17th September was the day of adoration in our community chapel, was arranged by the Archdiocese of Goa.In the morning at 7 am, had Eucharistic celebration after that Blessed Sacrament was exposed by Rev.Fr. Mariano Parish priest.During the day there were groups like Charismatic group, SCC group (our ward members), school children and their parents including our community members. Each group prepared word and worship, they spent their time with the Lord meaningfully. Adoration was concluded at 6 Pm by Rev.Fr.Joshly assistant parish priest.

4th OCT 2017:- THE FEAST OF ST.FRANCIS OF ASSISI
On the eve of the feast, we the fraternity celebratedTransitusreflectingon “Francis entrance to eternal glory”, we gathered in the open air in front of the St. Francis statue at 6 pm, there was a prayer service for an hour, pondering on converted life of St. Francis, his last Journey from this earthly life.
On 4th morning we began our prayer with divine office in the fraternity.Since our school is named as St. Francis blooming buds, we invited students along with their parents to participate in the Holy Mass. We had a solemn mass, and Theme was “Love of Francis towards the Mother of Jesus”commemorating the centenary of our lady of Fatima, Rev.Fr.Nelson Lobo OFM cap, focused on Francis love and his devotion for Mother Mary was even before his perfect conversion.

13th OCT 2017 BIRTHDAY OF OUR FOUNDRESS MOTHER FRANCISCA
Oct 13th is a very special for us to celebrate the Mother Francisca’s Birthday, we had Eucharistic celebration in our fraternity, reflecting on the pastoral Theme of our congregation, to commemorate 184th Birth anniversary of our beloved mother Francisca. We conducted sports in our school, our tiny toys were very enthusiastic The day was very important for us as it is “centenary year of OUR LADY OF FATIMA” there was anprocession with Mother Mary in different areas of the village, on this day we joined with all the faithful in contemplating the mysteries of Christ, procession was concluded with in the parish with benediction and solemn blessing.

1st to 6thDecember CANONICAL VISIT OF MOTHER GENERAL
On 1st Dec 2017 we welcomed our mother general her councillor and our provincial to our community by a prayer dance.
On 2nd Dec 2017 we had meeting regarding the canonical visit. We started meeting with the hymn to the Holy Spirit in Spanish RUAH…….RUAH.
After that Sr.Aniuska explained the purpose of visit and its objectives that about article no. 90 from the general constitution. We had a short reflection and sharing and so on.
Her purpose of visiting is specially to know each sister personally, also to know the spirit of fraternity and the missionand also revision of the files and books of the community.
On 4th Dec 2017 we had a visit to old Goa being a feast of saint. Francis Xavier, we participated in the Eucharistic celebration with a huge crowed of faithful, there after we paid a homage to the relic of St. Francis Xavier.

8th Dec 2017 FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
The feast of Immaculate Conception is a great feast for our congregation, we had nine days of novena praying for all the provinces in the congregation. On this joyous day we had a prayer service in the morning and we participated in Eucharistic celebration in the parish. This year we decided to be together as a community, we had an outing enjoying the company and warmthness of each other also sharing our joy with love and laughter.
