Our presence in Bangalore dates back in the year 1977.Since in Bangalore, there were many leprosy beggars, by than Chief Minister of Karnataka DevrajUrs felt the need to take care of these underprivileged brethren. He felt that only Christians could do this noble service and he approached the than Archbishop of Bangalore His Grace Arokiaswamy with this matter. At that time as His Grace was inviting many Congregations to serve in Bangalore, Rev Fr. Dr. Salafia who was working in Bangalore related the matter to our sisters.
