Aurangabad Community

History:

St. John Mary Vianney Convent is situated in Bishop’s House campus just oppositeto the Minor Seminary, Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales and Little Flower High School are also accommodated in the same campus. Aurangabad consists of the people of different religious background namely Christianity, Muslim, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Buddhism. According to local sources, the Roman Catholic community numbers around 50,000. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people. The city is a tourism hub, surrounded by many historical monuments, including the Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as Bibi Ka Maqbara and Panchakki.
