TEACHER DAY CELEBRATION 5TH SEP. 2017
A teacher is like a lamp that dispels the darkness of ignorance and brings up the light of knowledge in the life of the students.
On 4th Sep 2017 we had celebration of the teachers’ day in our school premises. All possible efforts were made by our students to make the day more brighter and colourful one. They did it so by putting up various cultural programs which included speeches poems and dance as a token of love and respect the students and management offered gift to the all the teachers We had gone out for lich, which was enjoyed by all of us indeed the day was very pleasant.
FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI
A person who found the presence of Christ in each and every element in the universe, a person who loved and respected everyone is none other than our beloved saint St. Francis of Assisi.
As St. Francis is considered our patron saint and the school is named after him, we celebrated our school feast on 4th October. The day began with the lighting of the lamp by the managing committee. The cultural events were performed by the students. The skits and the songs depicted the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Rev. Fr. Kuriacose, the manager of the school addressed in his message that we should pray to our patron saint and imbibe from him the virtues of simplicity, authenticity and learning how to care for our mother earth.
