Jubilee Year Celebration of Venerable Mother Francisca Khandwa Community 2022-23

The Jubilee celebration of our foundress Venerable Mother Francicsca was held on 16th April 2023 at Cathedral Church, Khandwa , (M.P). Arround 300 participants attended the remarkable and memorable event, consisting of the religious from neighborhood, lay faithful and the members of F.S.I. family namely Roshini Community, Auragabad Community and Khamdwa Community.

We had very meaningful Euchristic celebrationin which Rev. Fr. SujinRaj the Assistant Parish Priest of Cathedral Church was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr. Boban Philip the Parish Priest of Cathedral Church was con celebrant.

The Holy Eucharist began at 7.45 am, a procession by F.S .I sisters with a portrait of our foundress Venerable Mother Francisca followed by introduction given by St.Francis B.C.C (Basic Christian Community) Member.

The Parish Priest of Cathedral Church Rev. Fr. Boban Philp too gave a brief and meaningful introduction of the jubilee year celebration mentioning that our foundress Mother Francisca is declared as Venerable by Holy Father Pope Francis and its procedures for sainthood.

There were prayers of the Faithful specially praying for our congregation and each member of our congregation also praying for various needs of other church followed by prayer for jubilee year by F.S.I sisters.

During Offertory Sweets were offered as the custom of this place and then distributed to people after of mass.

On behalf of F.S.I family, the vote of thanks was given by Se. Shaila in which Sr.Shaila thanked everyone with great acknowledgement and love for making this day a memorable one.

After the Eucharistic celebration there was a photo session and after distributed sweets and bookmark of jubilee year for all. The celebration ended with great joy and happiness.
